Prior to the launch of Amy Doner Group, Amy Doner served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Planned Television Arts (PTA) entertainment division focusing on celebrity spokesperson media campaigns for the company's corporate clients. Prior to her appointment at PTA, Ms. Doner launched the New York office of Insignia Public Relations and Marketing, formerly Michaels, Wolfe & Tencer, Inc. (MWT), a Beverly Hills-based entertainment public relations firm whose clients include actors, filmmakers, production companies, and other entertainment industry ventures.
Ms. Doner has specifically worked with such high profile talent as Sally Field, LeAnn Rimes, Rob Lowe, Cindy Crawford, Neve Campbell, Larenz Tate, TLC, Noah Wyle, Naomi Judd, Kelsey Grammer, Anjelica Huston, Joe Torre, Cybill Shepherd, Danny Glover and Marg Helgenberger for global companies including Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, Merck, Amgen and Glaxo Smithkline, among many others.
Before MWT, Ms. Doner began her career in the Healthcare division of Ruder Finn, one of New York's largest PR firms. Her responsibilities included strategic and creative development, media relations, and special events planning and execution for worldwide companies including Novartis, Schering-Plough, Merck, Procter & Gamble, Pfizer, Glaxo Smithkline, Roche and Bristol-Myers Squibb. In addition, she has worked for not-for-profit clients including The Skin Cancer Foundation, The American Health Foundation, The American Medical Women's Association and The Female Health Foundation.
Ms. Doner's diverse experience in both entertainment and pharmaceutical/corporate pr includes overseeing multi-faceted marketing communications programs successfully pairing celebrity clients with timely health issues. She has also been active in creating broad public health awareness campaigns to capture media attention, both on a national and grassroots level.
